During our recent stay at Sahara, we were treated to a much-needed respite amid the tranquil beauty of the desert. As a family that thrives on outdoor adventures in New Zealand, this hotel ticked the boxes for us — clean, spacious rooms and ample relaxation options. The outdoor pool was a fantastic escape for the kids, providing them with endless joy while we lounged nearby. A morning dip in the indoor pool followed by a visit to the wellness center felt particularly rejuvenating. The hammam and massages were among the highlights of our experience; I’d recommend reserving some time for that. We appreciated the comfort of our room, equipped with a lovely balcony providing a charming view of the surrounding area. After a day exploring, unwinding with a drink at the bar felt just right. the reasonable room rate included breakfast and dinner—perfect for families after a day of sightseeing. In summary, while the decor may not be the latest style, the essence of this oasis in the desert is tranquility and comfort. Sahara provided a solid base for us to relax and soak in a unique environment.
